The Family Photography Experience includes your portrait session and 10 professionally edited high-resolution digital images. After viewing your gallery, you may expand your collection with additional images or invest in bespoke heirloom artwork for your home.

To secure your session, a £250 booking retainer is required, with the remaining balance due the day before your session.
Professional hair and makeup is available as an optional add-on (£125).

THE EXPERIENCE
01 — Secure Your Session
Family photography sessions are available Monday to Saturday at my North London studio. Once you’ve chosen a suitable date, your session is secured with a booking retainer.
02 — Preparation & Styling
Before your session, you’ll receive a detailed styling guide, and we’ll discuss clothing, colours and the overall feel you’d like your portraits to have.
03 — Your Photography Session
Your session takes place in my calm North London studio, where you’ll be guided throughout. Sessions are relaxed and natural, allowing space for genuine interaction, laughter and connection.
04 — View & Select
Approximately one week after your family photography shoot, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view your beautifully edited images. From there, you may keep your included digital collection or choose to expand into fine art albums or bespoke wall art.

Family portrait sessions can be booked at any time of year, however many families choose to book several weeks in advance to secure a convenient date. If you have a specific deadline, such as a birthday or gift, I recommend booking early to allow time for viewing and selecting your images.

Family portrait sessions typically last around 2 hours. This allows plenty of time for a relaxed, unhurried experience, with space for outfit changes and breaks if needed, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and at ease.

Simple, neutral and thoughtfully coordinated clothing photographs beautifully and keeps the focus on your connection as a family. Before your session, we’ll have a consultation call to discuss your vision and styling, and I’ll guide you on colour palettes and outfit choices that photograph effortlessly and timelessly. You’ll also receive a preparation guide to help you feel fully prepared and confident.

During your session, I photograph a wide variety of moments and combinations to ensure we capture genuine expressions and connection.
After carefully editing and refining the best images, you’ll receive approximately 30 fully finished portraits in your private online gallery, from which you can select your included favourites.

Approximately one week after your session, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery where you can view your beautifully edited portraits and select your included images. From there, you also have the option to purchase additional digital images or heirloom artwork.

This is completely natural, and nothing to worry about. My sessions are calm, relaxed and gently guided, allowing children to settle in their own time. Some of the most meaningful portraits happen in between moments, and my approach is designed to capture genuine expressions rather than forced poses.

Sessions take place at the PhaseZero studio in High Barnet, North London (EN5 4LQ), a calm and private space designed specifically for portrait photography.
Parking information and directions are provided ahead of your session to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
